Planning, Zoning, Subdivision & Land Use
Lanier Ford counsels and routinely represents clients on matters of planning, development, subdivision, zoning, and other land-use laws and regulations.
Our attorneys assist clients in complying with zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations, as well as seeking exceptions to and variances from these zoning ordinances and regulations. This practice is not limited to the use of the property—as in whether it is zoned residential, commercial, or industrial—but may also deal with subdivision and commercial development, which may include such issues as landscaping, signs, density, off-street parking requirements, lighting, screening, underground wiring requirements, sidewalks, and height limitations.
Our attorneys negotiate with public officials and appear before and appeal to various public boards and judicial tribunals to seek the optimum planning, zoning, and subdivision treatment for our client's properties.
