Dan Beasley nominated to board of ADLA
Lanier Ford attorney Daniel Beasley has been nominated for a 3-year term on the board of directors of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA). The election for officers of the association will be held on June 15, 2019, at its annual conference.
The entirety of Mr. Beasley’s 35-year career as a civil trial lawyer has been focused on defense of clients in a variety of claims, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, violation of civil rights, professional administrative proceedings, and premises liability. He has also defended businesses involved in class-action lawsuits.
In addition to his membership in the ADLA, Mr. Beasley is also active in the International Association of Defense Counsel and has served that organization in a variety of roles, including as a faculty member for the IADC Trial Academy.
Mr. Beasley has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the medical-malpractice section of The Best Lawyers in America since 2007. For 2019, Best Lawyers named him as Lawyer of the Year in the area of medical malpractice defense. SuperLawyers.com has named him an Alabama Super Lawyer since 2008.
He is a member of the Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida Bars and has been recognized as a board-certified specialist civil trial lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization, and the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
