Alabama Defense Lawyers Association publishes article by Amanda Coolidge

The spring 2020 edition of the Journal of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association contains an article written by Lanier Ford attorney Amanda Coolidge. The article is entitled “The Basics: Medicare’s Interests in Claims and Settlements” and addresses the Medicare Secondary Payer Act. Attorneys must be careful to consider this act when settling claims involving Medicare beneficiaries.
