Lanier Ford welcomes Jeremy Smith, registered patent attorney

Lanier Ford is pleased to announce it has added a second registered patent attorney to its Intellectual Property Practice Group. With a background in biotechnology, molecular biology, and medical devices, Jeremy Smith brings over 12 years of patent experience to assist clients in the protection and management of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secret rights. As part of his comprehensive approach to assisting clients manage intellectual property, he develops strategies for maximizing financial gains through contracts, licenses, and litigation. Mr. Smith joins Jerry Walsh and Ty Stafford in helping inventors and businesses address a wide variety of intellectual property needs.

A native of Alabama, Mr. Smith graduated from University of Alabama in Huntsville with a bachelor of science and a master of science in biology in 1999 and 2002 respectively and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2006.
