Results of Gurley quarry suit recognized by Defense Research Institute

The Defense Research Institute has recognized the successful termination of the Gurley quarry suit. George Royer and David Canupp represented the city of Gurley in this case that ended with a summary judgment in favor of the defendant city. Because the plaintiff did not appeal the decision, the case is now settled with the city avoiding a $5 million judgment that would have bankrupted it.
