George Royer named Lawyer of the Year

For 2013, Best Lawyers has named George W. Royer, Jr., as the Huntsville Best Lawyer of the Year for employment litigation. Best Lawyers names only a single lawyer in each practice area in a metropolitan area as its Lawyer of the Year for that metroplitan area. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.
Mr. Royer’s practice is primarily focused on employment litigation. He also practices in the areas of local governmental liability, civil rights and constitutional litigation, commercial disputes, professional malpractice, and products liability. He frequently serves as a court-appointed mediator in civil litigation for federal and state courts. He also regularly represents clients in general civil and insurance defense litigation.
He has been selected for inclusion in the The Best Lawyers in America since 2005, listed in the areas of First Amendment litigation, labor and employment litigation, and municipal litigation.
