Andrew M. Townsley
Mr. Townsley regularly represents municipalities, businesses, and individuals in the defense of personal injury and premises liability cases. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to the defense of local medical professionals and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. Mr. Townsley routinely represents employers and employees in the prosecution and defense of non-compete and non-solicitation cases. He also represents creditors in bankruptcy adversary proceedings.
As a litigator, Mr. Townsley has experience handling civil cases from pleading through discovery, trial, and appeal. Mr. Townsley has experience with jury and bench trials in several counties in north Alabama. These trials have involved claims of medical malpractice, personal injury, property damage, premises liability, breach of contract, and fraud.
In his free time, Mr. Townsley enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to the community and bar. He is an active member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and serves on the board of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program.
