Amanda R. Coolidge

Ms. Ms. Coolidge focuses her practice on the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, long-
term care facilities, and assisted living facilities in professional liability matters. Her
practice includes the defense of complex medical malpractice claims, as well as
premises liability matters, workers’ compensation and retaliatory discharge claims,
insurance coverage disputes, and issues arising under the Medicare Secondary Payer
Act.
Ms. Coolidge brings a distinctive combination of legal and clinical experience to her
practice. Before becoming an attorney, she worked as a registered nurse in trauma and
burn intensive care and later as an RN case manager. Her years of direct patient-care
and clinical experience provide her with a firsthand understanding of the challenges
faced by healthcare professionals and the medical and operational issues that arise in
professional liability litigation. This unique perspective enables her to efficiently assess
complex medical records, understand the clinical decision-making underlying patient
care, and effectively communicate with healthcare providers and medical experts in
defending claims.
