Profile
Nathan’s practice spans a broad spectrum of civil litigation. He represents individuals, businesses, and governmental entities in matters involving probate-related litigation, will contests, trust litigation, business and contract disputes, insurance defense, construction disputes, municipal liability, and others.
Nathan has experience as lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials across North Alabama and has handled litigation duties in hundreds of lawsuits throughout Alabama. His experience in litigation involves handling all aspects of lawsuits, from pleading, discovery management, depositions, motion practice, discovery, insurance carrier reporting, trial strategy, and appeal.
As a lifelong native of the Tennessee Valley, Nathan grew up in Meridianville and graduated from Hazel Green High School. Nathan earned his law degree from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery. Prior to law school, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Troy University. While at Troy, he was a standout relief pitcher on the university’s baseball team, earning All-Conference honors while setting the single-season and career record for appearances. Nathan also contributed to multiple conference championship teams while at Troy.
Nathan has served in leadership roles with the Huntsville Young Lawyers, acting as a board member and President; he is also a District Director with the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association’s Young Lawyers Section. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Stars for his work in insurance and personal injury defense.
Nathan was honored to be chosen as a member of Class 19 of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum. This program involves young lawyers from across the state who are well-regarded as future leaders in the legal community.
Nathan lives in Meridianville with his wife, Melissa, and their three (3) daughters: Mia, Evelyn, and Rosalee. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and experimenting with smoked and grilled recipes for friends and family.
