On Friday, October 14, 2016, Lanier Ford attorney Paul Pate will be a presenter at a seminar sponsored by the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section of the Alabama State Bar.

Mr. Pate will address issues in land-use planing procedures.  Other topics include eminent domain, private condemnations, commercial leasing, the intersection of divorce and real estate law, and ethical issues in dealing with government officials.

Mr. Pate has over 24 years of hands-on experience in real-estate matters, including transactional negotiations, contracts and related documentation, title examination and evaluation, and closings. Mr. Pate regularly handles zoning and land-use matters and general real estate litigation, especially for the firm's sophisticated business clientele. Mr. Pate handles such diverse real estate matters as residential and commercial development projects, including industrial facilities and telecommunication sites.
